What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you register for GO DAY: your name, email address, mobile phone number, church name, school name and location, student leader first name and grade, expected number of students, meeting time, and the type of club or prayer huddle you plan to launch.
After the event, leaders may submit attendance numbers and photos through the report link we send.
How we use it
- Coordinate the GO DAY event across schools and churches.
- Confirm your registration and send reminders.
- Send day-of logistics and last-minute updates.
- Collect attendance reports and follow up about future network events and leader training.
Text messaging
Mobile numbers and consent to receive text messages are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We send approximately 2 to 4 messages per month, with more messages during the week of the event. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of registration. You may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for assistance. See our SMS Terms and Conditions for the full opt-out and help details.
How you opt in to texts (message flow)
We only text people who ask us to, through one of these opt-in methods:
- Web form — the GO DAY registration form on this site, with a phone number field and a consent checkbox that is not pre-selected
- Via text — texting START, YES, or UNSTOP to our number
- Verbal — consent given in person at a GO DAY meeting, with the same disclosure read aloud
- Paper form — printed signup sheets with the same disclosure and an unchecked consent box
- Mobile QR code — codes on GO DAY posters and slides that open the web form above
The web form shows a clear description of the messages you will receive, the message frequency, “Message and data rates may apply,” “Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help,” links to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and a clearly labeled submit button. The checkbox must be actively selected by you; it is never pre-checked, and consent is never a condition of registering.
Students under 18 are never texted or emailed by us. We collect a parent or guardian's contact information instead, send them one notification message, and only continue messaging after they reply YES, START, or UNSTOP. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers who operate the platform on our behalf, specifically our hosting, database, email delivery, and SMS delivery vendors, and only to deliver the service described here.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect contact information from anyone under 13. Students under 18 cannot register without verified parent or legal guardian consent, and we do not send text messages to minors. Any messaging goes to a verified adult.
Photos
Photos of minors are not published without the submitting leader's approval, and any photo can be removed on request.
Your choices
- To unsubscribe from emails, click the link at the bottom of any email or email nwyouth@nwministy.com.
- To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. To start again, reply START.
- To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, email nwyouth@nwministy.com.
Retention
We keep registration and event records so we can follow up with leaders and plan future events. Unverified pending registrations are deleted after 7 days.
